8 months

This past month or so have proved to be a busy one. While we have been busy with the move and Matt starting school again, Emmalynn has been busy with lots of new things.

She is giving kisses like crazy. However, she mainly likes to give them to her horse and monkey. The other day Matt was leaving so he leaned in and tried to get a kiss and she totally turned her heard the other way. It was cute to see her personality shine through, even though Daddy would have loved a kiss good bye. (He got one when he got home)



While she does not have any real interest in crawling, she does this roll thing that gets her where she wants to go. She will roll on her back and push a little with her feet and then roll on her tummy and push again with her feet. It takes longer, but she gets where she wants to go. The coffee table is her newest toy.


As for standing up and walking...now that is where the fun is. She is pulling herself up on her toys (kinda hard at first) and she loves to walk with us holding her hands. She thinks it is so funny to be standing like big people. She takes a step and then looks up at you and laughs. She is also moving herself from the couch to her toy while standing. It's no time till she is off and walking on her own.


Mum mum's are the tasty treat that she enjoys at lunch and dinner. She was enjoying one while Daddy opened his Daddy Day gift.






Lastly, Emmalynn is a pointing fool. She points at everything. Instead of just grabbing at toys she points at them and just holds her hand on them.
