Apple Festival

We took our first trip to the Orchard this year. Today was the Apple Festival. We didn't really know how to explain to Emmalynn we were headed to the Orchard, so we simply mentioned one of her favorite words "ANIMALS". That got her excited and she was ready run.



First, we played on the big toy. She climbed into one that was for the "big kids". She made it half way through and turned around. We were proud of her for trying.
At one time a dad came to tell his son that it was time for his birthday cake and he needed to gather his friends. So, he took off running yelling "CAKE". Emmalynn thought that was her que, so she took off running and yelling "CAKE CAKE CAKE" too. It was hilarious!








Then we went to feed the animals. One of my favorite traits about Emmalynn is her love for animals. She cracks me up telling them all "hi" and running from one to the other. She isn't shy, and likes to feed and pet them all.
We ventured for a horse ride. She didn't mind sitting on the horse, but didn't want to ride alone. The told me that I could ride with her, however I didn't think that was wise. So, we settled for a couple of pics and petting the horse.




Lastly, there was running, running and more running.





We ended our morning out with Apple Cider and Apple Cider donuts! They are YUMMY!
