Emmalynn was invited to her first birthday party. Krystal was in my MUMS group last year and her daughter Kylie just turned two. We took the girls to see Monsters vs Aliens the other day on Kylie's birthday with MUMS. This was both of the girls first movie experience. Emmalynn was so excited walking down the hall with her popcorn. She loved the big seats and thought she was big. THEN...the movie started and it wasn't so fun anymore. She was scared, so she crawled into my lap and kept her head on my should looking away. However, she would move her hand just enough to keep getting popcorn. We didn't stay long since I felt bad that she was scared. Once we were in the hall again, she was fine. She sat down and ate some more popcorn. Even though we didn't stay long it was a fun time.

On to the party....
It was a great time. Emmalynn played non stop and had fun making a princess crown, hitting the pinata, playing more games and assisting with presents. She feel and busted her lip at one point. Poor baby, you could see the teeth marks. She cried for a couple of minutes then popped up, said "all done" and proceeded to go play like nothing happened.

Gotta love noisy toys. Emmalynn didn't quite get that she should blow to get it to make noise. So, she just hummed with it in her mouth.

Post the Princess in the right window. Emmalynn just wanted the sticker. She would put it on and take it off again.

Whew, I need a drink.
