A couple of "first"

In the last couple months we have had a couple of "firsts".
We took Emmalynn to get her first hair cut. Despite the fun fire engine and Dora playing on her personal tv she was NOT a fan of some strange lady cutting on her hair. Overall she did very well. She walked away with a sucker, balloon and certificate for mommy that has some of her precious hair stored for keepsake.

Next, is Emmalynn's first day of school. Through my internships I have come to adore the Great Escape Preschool. I enrolled Emmalynn in school and she started the first of January. The first couple of days there were lots of tears, an accident in the pants and more tears. Not just by Emmalynn, but mommy too. Now Emmalynn loves going to school. They are working on colors, days of the week, months, numbers, alphabet and just started the "No Tears Handwriting" program. I am thrilled that my baby girl is going to such a wonderful school where she can learn about Jesus and much, much more.
