13 hours later.....Oregon!

The last afternoon of our time in Wyoming, both kids were napping and we were chatting.  We thought, it's a 13 hour drive to my Dad's; the kids HATE the car right now...why don't we just drive over night and hope they sleep through the night?!
So, 7pm we set out for Oregon....and we made it!

Sometimes we are just too tired to even finish our snack

This right here is why all the driving is worth it.  My Dad, brother and sister.  Family is so important and we want to make sure that we see everyone and spend as much time as we can with them before we move.  So, for a week we have been blessed to have lots of family time.
My Dad also got his passport!!!  He should be coming to visit us this next year.  We can't wait to share with our family first hand some of what we are doing and why we love the people we do so much.

                                                   Swimming, games, Harley time......

                                                             Grandpa's main man

Becky (sister in law) and Alex (sister)

Travis (brother), Aiden (first nephew), Dad, Josh (brother in law)

Peaceful days have been written all over this vacation.  This is just a glimpse of one.  Emmalynn comes out every morning to sit with mommy and enjoy the quiet.  We listen to the birds, rooster, crickets, wind, and other sounds that creation sings in the still of the morning.

                                                        First star of the evening

A day at the fair.  I have NEVER heard of a fair NOT having Cheese on a Stick?!  What is wrong with these people????  We had fun nonetheless.  :)

Oh what a day at the beach!!  The ocean is one of life's great wonders.  We love it and could spend days there.

                                                              He was super tired

Men being men!  Father-son versus son-in-laws

                                                       One last small road trip.....

Alex and Jennie took the kids to Washing to see Great Aunt Renee and Great Grandma Shirley.  We had a fun day eating pizza and playing around.

                                                     Alex, Renee, Grandma Shirley

On the way home from Washington Emmalynn wanted our attention to let us know that her and "bubby" were holding hands.  About 40 hours total travel and they still love each other...shew!
