Nancy planned out trip out wonderfully. She marked off a map with specific directions. Since we only had one day for Yellowstone, we were thankful for her expertise. She knew the great highlights to hit. Most of the pictures speak for themselves; and yet don't do justice to what the experience really was.
It is hard for me (Jennie) to disconnect. I think daily about our move...plans, prep, what if's, things to do before we move, after we move, on and on....
Being on "vacation", I wanted to turn all this off. Until Yellowstone, I wasn't successful. I am thankful for our day in Yellowstone. The cares of our world washed away the further into the park we drove. It was refrshing and peaceful. We were in awe of creation and it's beauty. Truly and unforgetable day!
This is how we started out day! This was on the way to Yellowstone! It's seems almost too good to be real.
Matt scouted the entire time we were in Wyoming for a bear and never saw one. The day before we left Jackson, a grizzly was spotted 5 miles from where we were staying. Poor Matt.
Bubbling mud
Can I just stay here in this moment of peace forever?!
Everyone needed a break while we waited for the last "show"
I waited all day, until I couldn't take it any more. I HAD to get into the water. It was too beautiful to miss out on.
