Emmalynn turns 4!

Happy Birthday Emmalynn!

Our family wanted to celebrate Emmalynn's  birthday before we moved.  We were living at my grandparents for the last week and this was the perfect place for a party.  We invited our closest friends to help celebrate this precious girl of ours.  The only thing Emmalynn asked for was a piñata.  So, piñata she shall have.

I tried to upload a picture of each person hitting the piñata, but they never would upload.

Adults like to have fun too!

Grandma's girl for sure!
I pray they are friends for years to come.  They have been facetiming regularly since our move.

Silly Daddy

Now that we are in Marneuli, we wanted her actual birthday to be just as special as it would have been at home.  We started the day with pancakes!  This mama now knows how to make them from scratch.
A little sibling cuddle time
Daddy went on the hunt for fresh flowers and found some beautiful ones.  Emmalynn loves fresh flowers and was thrilled when she saw these.
Next, help Mommy make Funfetti cupcakes.  I wasn't sure I would know how to make cupckes from scratch when we first moved, so I cheated a bit.  Matt found the muffin tin last week in Tbilisi; talk about perfect timing.
Cards and a gift from those who adore Emmalynn back home.

We had some friends over for cupcakes and to help celebrate.  It was a great time.

Emmalynn received the game "Memory" as a gift.

After cupcakaes it was time for some soccer!
It is a joy to be here with such wonderful people.  Listening to everyone in our dinning room  brings joy to our hearts.  We had the spoken languages of English, Azeri, Russian, and Deutsch.
