This is a quote from one of our pastors at Asbury. He wrote these words to us when we were living in Azerbaijan. They have stuck with me, as I seek to evaluate if we are really enjoying life. Somehow along the way I started to believe that I as unworthy of enjoying life and just goofing off. I started to believe that if I was in ministry, then I needed to always be working and producing something.
Yet, that isn't who God is or who he is calling me forth to be. So, as we continue to seek balance in our life, we are seeking to enjoy our life and have fun!
We had the joy of spending Labor Day weekend at our long time friends' home in Grove. Saturday we took a boat out and enjoy lots of sun, swimming, tubing and laughs. It was truly enjoying life and the God who gave us life.
