Recent trip to Georgia and Baku.

                                                               First stop Tbilisi.

We visited a neighboring village for a day.  The friends prepared a delicious spread for us.
These shoes represent everyone on the team we will be joining! I am so thankful for the family that has been prepared for us.
We did some house hunting while we were in Marneuli.  This is one of the homes that I really liked best.  We spent quite a bit of time sipping coffee and negotiating price.  I am NOT a negotiator, so this was beyond me.  Ultimately, we agreed to walk away for now.  I'm am holding on to hope that it will be our home.

                                                                    Kids' room
                                                          Western bathroom!  YAY!
The yard just off the porch
More of the yard.  It need some clean up, but I can see the kids loving this yard.

                                                                           Dinner out
Mohito (they don't serve them with alcohol here)

Nicest squaty potty I have EVER seen!
Our sweet mama's that shared their home with us.  We had a lot of fun with them.
                                                                    More travel time....
Can you see the mountains in the distance?  Beautiful creation
                                                           Welcome to the new Baku!
Traffic like I have never seen before.  It took us almost 2 hours to get through town.  At this point we were in the traffic circle.  I could have touched the car next to us.  Men were getting out and walking around.

                                                              Old City is gorgeous.

I think this means stopping is optional?!
                                                                       COFEE!

This carpet is hand woven by dear students at CARD.  I am honored to have this in my home.
