I am not quite sure how we have ended up at this point. Everyone always said that "time flies once you have kids". I have found this to be more true than ever recently. As I walked Emmalynn into her last day of preschool I had to fight tears yet again. This is another "last" if you will. We seem to be closing in on our move and there are some aspects of the American culture that I am simply going to miss. Emmalynn attending a private preschool is one of those aspects. We am so thankful for her teachers that loved her and spoke truth into her life. It was just last August that we moved back home and Emmalynn was terrified starting a new school. She cried for two months EVERY DAY to "go home". Home being Kentucky. Now, she stands here grinning ear to ear and begging me to hurry up, so she can get into her class.
They sang a precious I LOVE MOMMY song. We shared snacks and received the best year books. It was the best last day of school/Mother's Day celebration I could have ever hoped for.
This is all I could get from the silly girl!
New shades to kick off summer
Is there a better way to start summer than fishing at the lake? If you ask our kiddos, they would say NOPE! This is Josiah's first time on the boat and he loved it. He wanted his feet in the water constantly.
This is what peace looks like!
Emmalynn loves casting her pole and reeling it in.
Josiah thought he caught a fish too. We had to watch him...he doesn't understand he is squeezing them too tight.
This is Emmalynn's fish. She wanted to keep it in the net and play with it.
