We knew it was asking a lot of the kids to travel at least 18 hours in the car from Oklahoma to Florida and then 12 hours back home from Atlanta. With this, we decided to break up the driving over a few days and stop to enjoy other places along the way. Our family LOVES to go hiking and spend time outdoors. We mapped out a national forrest and a national park to visit as well as a day at the beach.
I just love the excitement that this picture captures! We have the best day at the beach. There was no one around and we just ran around all day. The kids enjoyed making sand castles and having a picnic.

So strong to climb all the way to the top of the hill....and then roll down. :)
We pray that we can raise them to love each other and enjoy spending time together over time with any best friend.
It was a BIG hiking day. Josiah passed out on our way back.
